Free Printable Magnetic Journal Bookmarks – Inspirational Quotes

Set of 4 printable magnetic journal bookmarks on a 8 1/2″ x 11″ 300 DPI PDF.  Each bookmark measures 3.5″H x 2.25″W when folded.

I love to keep a journal but one of my biggest pet peeves is not being able to open it and find the last spot where I left off writing in it. I created these magnetic bookmarks to mark my spot and they have saved me a lot of time and frustration. I used to just slip a piece of paper in my journal to mark my spot but nine times out of ten it would slip down inside or fall out when I’d move my journal. The magnets in these bookmarks keep them exactly where you place them.

Print these bookmarks out on to white card stock paper and cut out with scissors. If you have a corner punch that you use for scrapbooking you can cut the bookmarks out in rectangles and just use your corner punch to clip the corners.

Use magnet strips with sticky backing on the inside of the bookmarks. Place two cut magnet strips together – one piece for the front inside and the back inside – then remove the tape from one side and place on the inside back cover. Once that is secure remove the paper backing from the top magnet strip. Fold the top of the bookmark down over the magnet and press firmly. Now your magnetic bookmark is ready to use to keep your spot. Hint: Place the bookmark so that the top 1/2″ is sticking out above the journal or book.

I used my medium corner punch to clip the rounded corners on my bookmarks. I have a smaller punch but my office gremlins seem to have taken off with it and must be holding it for ransom. 🙂
