| Hi There! I’m Kristi: Wife, mother (2 adult daughters & 2 fur babies (black lab & dachshund), grandma (1 grandson & 1 granddaughter), craft ‘o holic, & blogger. I survived the empty nest syndrome by diving into crafting after my daughters moved out to start families of their own. When I’m not spoiling Cocoa (dachshund) & Rocky (black lab) I enjoy working on my computer creating printables and SVG files that I think my visitors will enjoy.I’m an avid garage sale junkie when the weather permits. We only have 6 months out of the year here in Indiana where it’s a seasonal sport. I call it a sport these days because times have surely changed from the days where you’d casually get out of your car, stop and chat with others walking up to the sale along side of you. In modern times now it’s a lot like Black Friday shopping, cars line up an hour ahead of the sale start time and people all but tackle, push, elbow, and trip you to get to the sale items ahead of you! I was never into contact sports like football, wrestling, etc. so my dear husband goes with me these days to ensure my safety. As we get older we tip over easier and it’s not near as easy getting back up off the ground as it once was. I “rescue” items from garage sales that just need a little TLC. It’s so much fun taking a plain old item and turning it into something new! I purchased a Silhouette Cameo when they first came out which led me down the path of creating my own SVG files to makeover my stash of rescue items. You’ve heard the saying, “It’s the little things in life that bring the greatest pleasure”. A simple act of kindness can brighten someones day. I enjoy creating & sharing with others and it brings me the greatest joy of all when something I put my heart and soul into brings pleasure to another.
